Krk has something for everyone—not something, but everything. Rich in cultural heritage and natural beauty, it will be equally enjoyed by those who came to lie in the sun, in hidden coves or on popular beaches such as the beach in Baška, as well as by those who cannot sit in one place for five minutes.

It is networked with road and mountain bike paths and walkways such as Rajska cesta (Heaven Road) in the area of Malinska, whose name says it all. There is also the Krk Camino, a 150-kilometer walking path that passes through the beautiful island landscape, touching cultural, natural and historical landmarks.

The center of the island is the City of Krk, the history of which dates back to the prehistoric era, and its beauty and importance are shown by the inscription Splendidissima civitas Curictarum, found on an ancient tombstone from the 4th century, translated as the “Glorious City of the People of Krk”.

Everywhere you turn you will come across sights such as a Roman mosaic or the remains of the Temple of Venus. The city is dominated by the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built on the Roman baths, which you can see very nicely from our dentist's chair. The Frankopan Castle and Kamplin Square are considered by many to be the most beautiful places in the city.
